X-RAY

WHAT IS IT? 
A radiograph is a simple and painless procedure performed with radiation (X-Rays) that take pictures of the body, specifically of the bony skeleton. We work based on the ALARA principle of radioprotection: Radiation ‘As low as reasonably achievable’.
 
WHO CAN GET IT DONE?  

Any person at any age, except for pregnant women.  
 
WHAT PREPARATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE? 
If pregnant or suspicion of pregnancy, the test cannot be done because radiation is harmful for the fetus.  
No preparation is needed for X-Ray examinations.

  • Chest: Lungs and heart  

  • Entire spine 

  • Abdomen
