WHAT IS IT?

Is an examination that uses ultrasound (reflected high frequency and inaudible sound waves)
to image organs from the inside of the body. This technique uses no X-ray or any kind of radiation. Is
not a painful examination.

WHO CAN GET IT DONE?
Ultrasound examination can be performed at any age, since there is no radiation involved in the exam.

WHAT PREPARATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE?
